Time is running out for primary and secondary schools in Derbyshire to register to receive a free tree in a mission to help plant at least a Million Trees across the county by 2030.

From scrap to star object
A vintage BBC computer rescued at one of our Household Waste Recycling Centres has become a star of the show at the National Videogame Museum in Sheffield.

Stepping stones repairs
If you've ever been to Dovedale you'll probably have seen, or crossed, the famous stepping stones. Unfortunately they were damaged by Storm Babet last year, but now river levels are low enough for us to repair them.

During the storm, debris washed down the river toppling several of the stepping stones. We'll repair the missing stones and then set them in the river bed.
