Who we are & what we do

Ockbrook & Borrowash Parish Council consists of 11 elected councillors who serve for a four-year term, or until the next full parish council election. All councillors are voluntary.

Council Meetings are normally held on the 1st Wednesday of each month, except August and January, when there is normally no meeting - see the Council Meetings link above for more information.

The Meetings are held in the Ockbrook Parish Hall at 7.00pm.

Ockbrook & Borrowash Parish Council has an overall responsibility for the wellbeing of your local neighbourhood. Their work falls into three main categories:-

1. representing the local community

2. delivering services to meet local needs

3. striving to improve the quality of life in the local area
